Welcome to the North American Sports Car Championship. We are an rFactor league based somewhat on the American Le Mans Series. We're running six races, between 2 and 4 hours long, on some classic North American sports car tracks. Six types of cars spread across two classes will compete, based on the real life LMP1 and LMGT1 classes, running the Enduro Challenge mod.
If you feel up to it, you can do the whole race yourself, or bring a teammate (or two) and take turns racing with rFactor's driver change capabilities. Prototype racers can choose between the Audi R8, the Pescarolo C60, or the Dome S101, while GT drivers get the option of running a Corvette C6R, an Aston Martin DBR9, or a Porsche 996 Turbo.
Races run every other Sunday, starting August 19th at Barber Motorsports Park (Birmingham MotorPlex in rFactor-speak). Races are specifically scheduled to avoid conflicting with other large-scale sim racing sports car events (like SSCA's endurance races and the special, for charity GT race at Sebring). See the NASCC Schedule for details.
There will be a drivers points championship, but you do not need to commit to making every race to sign up. We're a pretty laid back league: run one race, run them all, whatever you can do. Just come and join us for some World Class sports car racing.
